Six elements, laid in register. Hydrogen, helium, sodium, mercury, neon and iron — each a row of fine lines at the exact wavelengths it emits, read left to right from violet to deep red.

A reference chart in the older sense: printed matte and archival, built to be studied on the wall rather than glanced at. Every line sits against a 400 to 700 nanometre axis, in the colour the eye would see it.

Spectra Edition. Sodium holds a single yellow line; neon crowds the red; iron scatters the green. One alphabet, written differently by every atom.
