Path of Totality — 2027 Total Solar Eclipse Poster
The path of totality of the 2 August 2027 total solar eclipse — the longest land totality until 2114, six minutes and twenty-three seconds at its peak near Luxor, Egypt. Drawn from NASA central-line data: the umbral track at its true 258-kilometre width, sweeping from southern Spain across North Africa to the Red Sea, with totality durations marked at Tangier, Oran, Sfax, Benghazi, Luxor and Jeddah. The corona is rendered above in fine radial linework.
A map for the people who plan their years around the sky — to circle the date, to plan the trip, or to keep the eclipse on the wall long after it has passed.
