Penrose — Decal
A Penrose tiling covers the plane completely and never repeats itself — two rhombus shapes, fitted by strict matching rules, producing the five-fold symmetry classical crystallography said could not exist. Roger Penrose worked out the tiling in the 1970s; decades later, quasicrystals showed nature had been using the trick all along.
This decal carries the pattern in kiss-cut, weatherproof vinyl — built for laptop lids, water bottles, and anywhere a small piece of impossible order belongs. Four sizes, from 2 to 6 inches.
