Barnsley Fern Panoramic Poster
Barnsley Fern Panoramic Poster: a fern drawn by four short equations, shown as a cyanotype sun-print.
What you're hanging
A fern that never grew. Every frond here was drawn by four short equations, repeated eighty million times: the Barnsley fern, first published in 1988. It is drawn as a cyanotype, the blue sun-print botanists used in the 1840s, where anything that blocks the light stays white. Panoramic 2:1 matte poster on museum-grade archival paper. Four sizes: 20 x 10, 30 x 15, 40 x 20 and 48 x 24 in. Frame not included.
