A strain wave gear, also called a harmonic drive, is a compact gear used in many robot joints.
What you're wearing
An oval wave generator flexes a thin toothed cup inside a rigid ring with two more teeth than the cup. With 202 teeth on the ring and 200 on the cup, the input turns 100 times for every 1 turn out, and the output turns the other way. Drawn in the manner of a CNC toolpath preview, with clearing spirals, finishing passes, drill cycles and red dashed rapid moves around the cut. The white is the hoodie. Front print. Heavyweight 70/30 fleece, fleece-lined hood, unisex fit.

US standard shipping is charged by weight and shown at checkout before you pay. For one item it starts at $4.95 for a tee, $5.09 for a cap, $6.99 for a poster or mug, $8.79 for a hoodie or sweatpants and $10.79 for a desk mat; more items add weight.
Each piece is made to order, so we can’t accept returns for a change of mind or the wrong size — please check the size guide first.
If an item arrives damaged or misprinted, contact us through the contact form within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we’ll arrange a free reprint or refund — no need to send anything back.
