Sky 2027 Wall Calendar
Twelve real events in the 2027 sky, one for each month, from the Quadrantid meteors in January to the Geminids in December, with the August 2 total solar eclipse in the middle of the year: up to 6 minutes 23 seconds of totality, with no longer one until 2114.
What you're wearing
Every date was checked against NASA, the U.S. Naval Observatory and other observatory sources, and dates are given in U.S. Eastern time. Each month is drawn in the manner of a different medium: cut paper, stone inlay, indigo dye, a glass-plate negative, a stencil print, shell inlaid in lacquer, tempera on gold, a lantern slide, a daguerreotype, gouache and airbrush, a crystal glaze and an etched meteorite. The covers are drawn as gilded glass. 11 × 8.5 inches, matte paper, with a full month grid under every picture.
