Archaeopteryx Stone Desk Mat

$32.49

All known Archaeopteryx skeletons come from the fine limestone of the Solnhofen area in Bavaria, Germany, and Alois Senefelder invented lithography on Solnhofen limestone in the 1790s.

The animal lived about 150 million years ago, part bird and part dinosaur, with teeth, clawed fingers on its wings and a long bony tail. Drawn in the manner of a crayon lithograph, black over a slate-blue tint stone. Full-bleed XL desk mat, 16 x 32 in.

Made to order — pressed and shipped in the US.
