Confluence
Colorado — Confluence Desk Mat
The Colorado basin as a branching drainage network — roughly 640,000 square kilometres of the American Southwest funnelled to the Gulf of California near 31.8°N 114.8°W, Strahler order 6.
What you're wearing
Every channel is a modelled river: flow accumulation run over a fractal landscape, ordered by Horton–Strahler so the trunk reads bold and the headwaters stay fine. Computed from the flow, not traced. Full-bleed XL desk mat, 16" x 32", non-slip base. Part of the Confluence series.
