Upside-Down Hallucigenia Desk Mat
When Hallucigenia was named in 1977, from fossils in the Burgess Shale of British Columbia, it was drawn walking on its spines.
What you're wearing
In 1991 it was turned right side up, and in 2015 its head was found at the end once taken for the tail. Drawn in the manner of carved lacquer: coats of red, black and ochre lacquer built up, then cut back to show the layers. Full-bleed XL desk mat, 16 x 32 in.

Each piece is made to order, so we can’t accept returns for a change of mind or the wrong size — please check the size guide first.
